From the moment you touch down in Mandalay, you can expect a first-class service with a personal meet and greet from our experienced driver. Hand over your bags and enjoy a comfortable drive to your hotel. Today we will explore the magnificent city of Mandalay.
We’ll kick off our exploration with an enjoyable cycle to the beautiful Mahamuni Temple. Here lays the holiest Buddha artifact in Mandalay.
We will then move on to visit a marble carving workshop where we will have the unique opportunity to see workers practicing this traditional trade and hand carving spectacular Buddha images. We will take the time to visit a few other workshops where we can learn about ancient royal handicrafts, tapestry and puppet making before a lunch break at a local tea shop.
After a delicious local lunch, we will continue our explorations at a gold leaf production house where we can learn about this ancient craft and make some for ourselves.
This afternoon we will visit Shwenandaw Monastery, the ‘golden palace’. A grand example of 19th Century Burmese architecture, the monastery is beautifully gilded with gold, adorned with glass mosaic and home to impressive carvings of Buddhist myths.
Our final stop today will be the Kuthodaw Pagoda, home to the world’s largest book and made out of stunning marble tablets.
Today finishes with a glorious cycle along the old city walls before reaching the hotel in time for sunset.
Mandalay-Pindaya

Another beautiful morning for cycling. Today we will head out into Pindaya.
Enjoy a blissful ride through patchworks of fields, local villages and a long descent. Say hello to children and their families as they wave excitedly.
On our arrival in Ywa Ngan, we will enjoy a well-deserved lunch break before loading the bikes for a short and comfortable transfer to Pindaya.

Pindaya - Palaung Village – Kalaw

Today we will enjoy a comfortable transfer to Kalaw where we will spend the rest of the day educating ourselves and exploring the local ethnic tribes with a ride down to the local Palaung villages. The Palaung people are a Mon ethnic minority group fondly known for the pickled tea and lahpet they hand grow and cure.
We will have the opportunity to see these wonderful tea plantations on our ride before stopping in Pein ne Pin. Here we are likely to see the local women weaving cotton in traditional village patterns including beautiful deep reds with blue stripes.
After a small rest, we will continue on our adventures with a cycle along a narrow dirt road, through tea plantations and on towards our next stop, Taung Ni village. Here the views are superb. Don’t forget your camera to appreciate these picture-perfect moments.
We will conclude the day with a ride down to Aung Ban, a larger regional trading town, before heading back to our comfortable Kalaw hotel.
Kalaw-Pin Laung-Loikaw

This morning we will say goodbye and depart the unforgettable Kalaw and visit to the Myin Ma Hti Cave which is home to beautiful limestone caves that house thousands of ancient Buddha images. We will hop on our bikes and enjoy an adventurous up and down ride over paved paths and dirt roads. Stop for the lunch at Pin Laung.
Then take a three hour transfer to the Loikaw by private vehicle. Loikaw, the capital of Kayah state is home to several, interesting ethnic groups. Loikaw is blessed with mountains, lakes, markets and many hill-tribes – the most famous being the Padaung or ‘long-neck’ people. If time permits, watch the sunset at Taung Kwel Sedi.

Loikaw – Ghost Cave – Loikaw

Fill up on your delicious breakfast because this morning we will head out on a 40-minutes cycle ride to the Aung Ta Pyay cave where we will have time to explore this eerie natural wonder.
From the cave, we will enjoy a scenic cycle to Daw Saw Bee Village, through PaO and Kayah Villages before stopping with a local resident to enjoy a chat and a homemade lunch.
After lunch, take in the stunning surroundings as we enjoy a casual 30-minute bike ride to Bee Village and onto Kyet cave. Get ready to be mesmerized because Kyet cave is like no other. Littered with mysterious coffin like stones inside, you’re sure to be truly intrigued.
Once we are finished discovering this one of a kind site, we will head back to Loikaw on our bikes, taking in the stunning scenery on our journey.

Loikaw- Panpet -Loikaw
- Total cycling hour- approx : 5 hours
We hope you wake up hungry and enjoy your local breakfast.
With plenty of post breakfast energy we will make a cycle adventure from Loikaw to Panpet. First, we will see the famous Ngwe Daung Dam and arrive to Demoso. With some luck, see the bustling five-day market in Demoso. From there you’ll be begin a laid-back,35 km ride to Pan Pet village on highway road and village road passing through the villages with some of the best-kept secrets and under-appreciated scenery.Enjoy the lunch at the village local home.
After lunch and time to regenerate our energy supplies, we will continue with our cultural exploration with a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet the only few women left in Panpet that grow their own cotton and thread and weave traditional textiles.
After a day to remember, we will enjoy fare-ware dinner together at a top-rated local restaurant.

Loikaw to Yangon

Enjoy a well deserved lay in bed, a late breakfast and free time until you head back to the airport with memories to last a lifetime.
It’s time to say farewell as you fly back to Yangon.
